Our Mission and Vision
Apoya La Gente (an information and support website maintained by Chippewa Valley Indivisible) believes in the equitable and fair treatment of all immigrants. We welcome individuals of all ethnicities, religions, cultural backgrounds, immigration status, and sexual orientation or identity to our community.
We are committed to achieving a safe community for immigrants by:
- Partnering with community-based organizations to make our communities healthier, safer, and better places for everyone to live and work.
- Providing resources that may be helpful to undocumented immigrants, immigrants, refugees, and their families.
- Advocating for the constitutional and civil rights of immigrants, regardless of citizenship status.
- Supporting rapid response and family assistance for immigrants detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
